Internal rotation is contraction of the piriformis, external rotation stretches the piriformis.

1: since finding out how active stretching can alleviate psoas tension, I won't stop doing them. 2: i feel like this type of release hapoens to me just lying in bed sometimes. But good video👌
not everybody can be a teacher
i was a littler confused about the execution of the exercise until i read "Do this holding the weight in RIGHT hand an reaching down with LEFT elbow" so the left obliques get activated. Same with the cable machine exercise. Reaching with the right hand opens up space on the right upper back to get air in and i suppose the supine position uses gravitiy to get the space even more opend up so the air can flow to that space. did i get it right?

Pretty much you should be using your leg to push you forward. Your body should be infront of you leg before you fully extend it
